How to Copy & Paste

    WINDOWS machines:

  1. Place your mouse cursor/arrow at the very beginning of the section that you want to copy on our logo webpage;
  2. Left click, and while holding the mouse button down, drag slowly across the section - you should see it highlighted.
  3. If it is highlighted - go up to "Edit" at the top of the screen, and pull down to "copy".  [Alternate: use a keyboard command to copy by holding down your Control key and "c" key at the same time];
  4. If you have done this correctly, then the highlighted section will be copied to your clipboard. Now open your html document where you wish to paste the section and place the cursor at the exact spot on the page where it should go - the insertion point should start blinking.
  5. Next - Right click your mouse and pull down to "paste"  [Alternate: use a keyboard command to paste by holding down your Control key and "v" key at the same time];
  6. Now Save the document by going up to "File" at the top of the screen and pulling down to Save.

Finally, be certain to check the document with your browser. With the browser open, go to File > Open > Browse > then navigate to the document on your harddrive.  

    MACINTOSH machines:

  1. Place your mouse cursor/arrow at the very beginning of the section that you want to copy on our logo webpage;
  2. While holding the mouse button down, drag slowly across the section - you should see it highlighted.
  3. If it is highlighted - go up to "Edit" at the top of the screen, and pull down to "copy".  [Alternate: use a keyboard command to copy by holding down your Command key and "c" key at the same time];
  4. If you have done this correctly, then the highlighted section will be copied to your clipboard. Now open your html document where you wish to paste the section and place the cursor at the exact spot on the page where it should go - the insertion point should start blinking.

  6. Now Save the document by going up to "File" at the top of the screen and pulling down to Save.  [Alternate: use a keyboard command to save by holding down your Command key and "s" key at the same time];

Finally, be certain to check the document with your browser. With the browser open, go to File > Open > then navigate to the document on your harddrive.
